Do You Have a Strategy For Living?

Most children have dreams of what they want to be when they grow up.  What were your dreams?

What motivates you?

We all want to be successful and happy but how do we attain success and happiness and fulfillment of our dreams?

In order to have a strategy for living your dreams then you really must know yourself, what your interests really are and what motivates you!

Do you really know what you want in life?  Have you thought about a career or job you would like to pursue but don’t know what your strengths are?  If you know, do you take advantage of them, if so in which way?  Maybe you have interests in varied areas.

There may be areas of yourself that tend to hold you back from doing what you think you want to do?  Are you really interested in knowing your strengths and what motivates you?

Take the test!

Richard Stephenson developed a test to help you learn what your top 5 strengths are, and your worst weakness and how they will impact your life, your career and your relationships! The test takes lest than 10 minutes.

We must have a strategy for living!

Once we understand ourselves and decide where we want to go in life, then we must have a strategy to get there! We must take steps to be productive!  That takes thinking and self-discipline to reach that long term goal! This is called strategy!

This means that there are certain steps we take which are called short term goals. These short term goals help us reach our life or long term goal.  It is like climbing a ladder to the top of a building. We have to take one step at a time and depending on how short the ladder is; we reach the top in a short time or a long time.  Getting a certain degree for a certain career or job may take 2, 4, 6, or 8 years depending on what we are shooting for. This takes a strategy and planning and if we fail to plan, then we plan to fail! And this all takes the power of focus!  In order to be truly successful and fulfill our life long dreams, we have to have the power of focus in order to apply our strategy for living!
